«I enjoy the therapeutic work very much, because I can experience positive changes in my clients and see how inner healing processes begin and new hope arises.»
For over 11 years I lived with my family in Scotland, Glasgow. There I completed a thorough training as a psychotherapist (MSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy) at Strathclyde University. My experiences abroad have given me a special sense for people of different cultures and nationalities. I have personally experienced the challenges of not living in your home country. Therefore I can relate well to people of other nationalities.
In different care centers, a psychiatric clinic but also in my own practice I could gain a lot of valuable experience with different clients. My areas of experience range from short-term coaching to long-term therapy of psychological disorders. In addition to clinical psychotherapy, I have worked in the short-term counselling of employees (Employee Assistance Programme) as well as bereavement counselling and in christian counselling. In addition to my work as a therapist, I have also gained experience as a supervisor in working with psychotherapists. In addition to my own practice I have also worked as a student counsellor at a university (HSPV) in Münster, where I offered counselling for students and developed and facilitated learning workshops on efficient learning and avoiding procrastination.
Supervision and Quality Control
An important part of my counselling and therapeutic work is self-reflection and my own supervision. Supervision helps me to stay accountable for my professional actions. In addition, regular further training is important to me in order to continuously expand my skills.

What my clients say about me:
Mrs. Gross helped me through a challanging time in my life. Because Mrs. Gross was so empathic and understanding, I was able to open up which is usually difficult for me. Mrs Gross always behaved in a caring and unbiased way. In the end of my therapy I felt emotional stable and more confident about my future.
In the beginning of my sessions I was very emotional and hurt. Now I feel confident, thanks!
I felt safe and comfortable talking to Bettina. She was unbiased and appreciating. It was very helpful to talk about my issues in a safe atmosphere. Thank you for all your help!
